Katana Buying: Discover the Ultimate Samurai Experience with the Musashi Katana

Are you looking for a high-quality katana that offers both beauty and functionality? Then the Musashi Katana with bo-hi is the perfect choice. This sword is not only a work of art, but also a powerful weapon designed for both collectors and practitioners of the Japanese sword art.

QUALITY MATERIAL: 9260 SPRING STEEL

The Musashi Katana is made of 9260 Spring Steel, known for its resilience and durability. This steel can withstand excessive amounts of stress, which means the sword will handle lesser technique graciously. This makes this katana an ideal cutter for repeated light use.

HAND-FORGED AND TEMPERED

Each katana is hand-forged and hardened to a hardness of +/- HRC 52-53. This process ensures that the blade is not only sharp, but also robust. The blade is further hand-polished and contains a Chu-Kissaki, which adds to the aesthetics and functionality of the sword.

TRADITIONAL AND AUTHENTIC FINISH

The tsuka (handle) is covered with genuine rye skin and wrapped in black cotton, providing a firm and comfortable grip. The tsuba of blackened iron is the famous “double lock ring” design of legendary samurai Miyamoto Musashi. Musashi, the most famous swordsman in Japanese history, fought more than 60 duels and always remained undefeated. After his retirement, he wrote the famous work “The Book of Five Rings,” detailing his strategies and tactics.

UNIQUE DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS

The fuchi and kashira are carefully chosen to match the openwork black iron tsuba, and the menuki (decorative elements on the tsuka) show the iconic Mount Fuji, a trademark of this new forge. The saya (scabbard) is black and shiny, and the sageo (cord) is also black.

This katana is completely removable for maintenance, making it a perfect introduction to the mysterious world of Samurai Tradition.
